Here is the latest HRRR Model for Kansas City from 7pm on Thursday October 29th, to 7am Saturday October 31st.
The model shows that slight possibility for storms on Thursday evening, then returning again on Friday eveming and running thorugh the evening hours. I will check again tomorrow afternoon (Friday 10/30) to see what the latest HRRR has to say about Saturday evening.
