Snopes says that the claim is true. The AI-generated image of Trump standing between the two generals appeared on the president’s Truth Social account (archived) on Aug. 4, 2026.
Okay, so I went and looked. Yes, August 14, 2026 there is a picture of Trump standing between Patton and McArhtur wearing a five star General’s uniform. I did not find the one that got my attention … showing him by himself and showing the Congressional Medal of Honor.

I would love to hear the reasoning behind these AI generated images, especially the one that I found on his Truth Social account for August 14, 2026. Waht to see for yourself, have fun backing up to August 14, they put a lot of information on his account and I got delayed several times as I tried to back up the time line.
Stolen Value. Yes, President Trump is the Commander and Chief of the US Miltiary Forces. That DOES NOT give him the right to depict himself with all the ribbons on his chest and awards that the AI generated graphic shows. Did Trump even serve in the Military?
