Yes, I decided to relaunch Scoutknots.net. why? I need a place to not only vent, but to share the library of information that I have collected over the decades and just can’t bring myself to delete. So, here we go again…
So, what am I going to be talking about? What information am I going to be sharing? This world has no shortage of stupidity that I have an opinion on. I have this desire to share my elder thoughts on a variety of matters. And as those who know me will attest, I don’t care if you want to hear it or not. My suggestion, if you aren’t interested in my thoughts then lose this domain name and show yourself out the door.

“Good gun control is hitting what you aim at…”
“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”
But with gun ownership comes responsibility. Gun owners should have a strong working knowledge of Firearms Safety and how to properly and safely use each firearm they own or handle. Each gun owner should have the means to properly secure their firearms so that they do not fall into the wrong hands and get used for criminal purposes. Each person who owns a firearm should known the laws and penalties regarding the use of firearms.

I highly recommend that anyone who ‘concealed’ or ‘open carry’ a handgun have insurance to cover legal fees and any liability that may result in the use of a firearm to defend self or others.
Freemasonry
I am currently demit from the Masonic Fraternity. I demit from the Masonic Fraternity around 2004 due to personal reasons. It was originally my intention to one day return to the Fraternity, but after over twenty years it is very unlikely that I will return to active membership. I am a Past Master. I was a Ritual Instructor under the Grand Lodge of Missouri. I was a member of the Scottish Rite. And I am proud to say that I personally walked all three of my Blue Lodge degrees, no “Chance to Advance” class for me, and I returned all three proficiencies. I take my obligation seriously, even at my current status. I will not share information I am obligated to restrict.
The Grand Lodge of Missouri continues to pursue an agenda of designating which religious beliefs are acceptable and which are not. As a member of the 2025 Grand Lodge line stated to an acquaintance of mine, they are trying to drive Satanism away from Freemasonry. This continues a campaign against those who openly claim to be of the Pagan/Neopagan/Alternative spiritual paths. This spits in the face of the widely published definition of “belief in deity” which does not prescribe a particular religious path but leaves the concept of deity to the individual. This agenda was sparked by, and is continued by a leadership who is working to judge what is acceptable based on their Christian beliefs and agendas.
“My Hypocrisy Only Goes So Far”
It needs to be understood that this practice is not fraternity wide. There are other Grand Lodge jurisdictions of which do not disqualify candidates because of their ‘unorthodox’ or ‘alternative’ spiritual beliefs. Then again, there are jurisdictions which are far worse on a variety of matters. If you are interested in Freemasonry, then you need to do your homework, you need to learn about the Fraternity, about the nature of the Fraternity and what truly interests you. Then you need to see if the Jurisdiction and Lodge you are considering is compatible with your life and interests. For an organization that teaches that we should all meet on the level, there are some extremely judgemental men in Freemasonry.
Yes, the Square and Compass are upside down on the cutout of Missouri. It was intended that way … the graphic original work I call “clandestine”.
